Summary

The characters were summoned by the Matriarch of St Cuthbert, Lady Enesta, who gave them the quest to find the Rod of Seven Parts

Events

Reached Mitrik. Saw preachers and unrest

Enesta the Matriarch of St Cuthbert, tells us we need to seek help in the war against Kett. We need to go to the elemental plane of air, but cannot get back without an artefact. The artefact is a sceptre, and it's just been stolen by a bunch of bugbears.

Fight against bugbears in sewers, where a mysterious figure in black attacked the party from a side passage. Carry a piece of parchment with Sir Nil's description. The figure a human appearing half-orc seemed to belong to one of the Cults of Iuz.

The adventures found some seemingly demonic claw marks in the passage walls, following the tracks the Adventures came across 4 Babaus which the adventures killed. In the same room there was a secret door. Hidden behind the secret door was a priest of Iuz with the sceptre, along with some bugbears.

Elsbeth was able to kill the Priest of Iuz with a 5th level blight, which triggered a gate way and a Glabrizu was able to get through the gate. Garazhan successfully turned the demon allowing the party to get the fallen Paladin up and healed before combining to finish it off.

The Zef recovered the sceptre, pots and pans, and the party looted the cultists recovering gold and gems and then headed back to Lady Enestra to be plane shifted to the Plane of Air.

After research we find spells may not work, or work as expected. Also aware of Yantse bin is an evil air elemental.

After a combat vs two invisible creatures we sense a white dragon!
