A patrol of this nature is mounted on Light Warhorses, although it can be afoot if the terrain necessitates. Troops are missile-armed.
- 1 officer: Fighter 5-6, AC 16
- 2 subalterns: Fighter 3-4, AC 16
- 6 serjeants: Fighter 2-3, AC 15
- 3-6 veterans: Fighter 1, AC 15
- 5-20 troopers: Fighter 0, AC 15
There is also one Cleric 5-6 (AC 16) or one Druid 5-6 (AC 12) or one Magic-User 4-5 (AC 10).
