Greg gets hit by the nerfbat!

Well, the new version of the basic Cleric class is up on the wizards website, so we can now see how much Greg’s character for the epic campaign is affected…

Of course, I don’t actually have a up-to-date version of the character. (Greg, could you e-mail me at merricb@yahoo.co.uk with the file of the most recent version?)

However, looking at my out-of-date version, here’s what changes:

ASTRAL WAVE… massive change. It’s now a Close Burst 1, not 8. It’s now a weapon attack, triggering off Strength, not Wisdom. Does 2[W] damage, not 2d8. Net result: No longer the “I kill everything” for Greg, but it actually hits more often and deals more damage!

And… err… that’s it, as far as I can see. (Turn Undead got smacked pretty hard, but I don’t think Greg has that power.
