Adam and Greg get hit by the nerf bat in D&D

The latest updates to the D&D rules have been posted and there are some significant changes to powers and rules we’ve been using.

First off, Adam has been nerfed. How did this happen? It’s a change to the Orb of Imposition power.
“You can designate one creature you have cast a wizard spell upon that has an effect that lasts until the subject succeeds on a saving throw. That creature takes a penalty to its next saving throw against that effect equal to your Wisdom modifier.”
Yes, it’s not a permanent penalty, just to its next save. I’m all for this change, as the Orb was otherwise far too powerful.
Not happy with just nerfing Adam, they also decided to nerf Greg. This they did by changing the power Righteous Brand:
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier damage, and one ally within 5 squares of you gains a +3 power bonus to melee attack rolls against the target until the end of your next turn. Increase damage to 2[W] + Strength modifier at 21st level.”
That used to be Greg’s Strength bonus (+6, wasn’t it?) Let’s face it: +6 was rather strong. Now it’s a flat +3 bonus – still very good, just not overpowered.
Now, Wizards were on a roll, so they decided to nerf Adam, Nate, and probably everyone else *before they reached Epic levels* by nerfing the Demigod.
DEMIGOD
“Divine Miracle (30th level): The first time you expend your last remaining encounter attack power during an encounter, you regain the use of one encounter attack power of your choice.”
There are a host of other small and large changes – for instance, Weapon Expertise now grants a feat bonus to attack rather than an untyped bonus. However, those are the important changes I spotted. Let me know if anything else strikes you as having changed for your PC.
