Pretty nice haul in the box. I came home to not one but two boxes, although only one thing in each: Tome of Ice, the latest Descent expansion, and Sword and Dragon, which I know you’re familiar with.
It looks good. Adds a swallow mechanic for the ice wyrms. Also adds the stealth die, which is nifty- it has two Xs and the rest blank. So, invisible creatures require you to add the stealth die when you attack, increasing your chance to miss. Nice and simple. There are also some weapons which are rather strong, but require the stealth die, so powerful but unwieldy.
Feats also look neat, giving the players some added powers.
Before 4E, my group was playing the hell out of Descent with Road to Legends. Haven’t done much with it in a while. I think we’re dropping the campaign we were on, and next weekend I’ll just run quests from Tomb using the heroes in it.
