I’ve just organised the miniatures I’ll need for the first two sessions of Death’s Reach into a container so they’re all ready for next week. Well, except for the Goristo demon which doesn’t fit, and is sitting on top of the container. Assuming I don’t do something completely boneheaded like forget to take them to the session, the only thing I really need to do now is review the monster stats and see if I really want to change any of them to the new paradigm of stats. It’ll be a moderate amount of work, but it may greatly improve the game. I still have a week to think about it.
My D&D Minis are currently spread between eleven plastic boxes and two “green” bags – the huges are in the bags, The minis are now only just fitting in the boxes… I may need to buy more at some point. I’m not sure how many minis I have at this stage: it’s over 2,000, but has the count reached 3,000 yet? Maybe, maybe not.
What is certain is that I’m glad that the minis “compact” so much into the boxes. They don’t take up as much room as they would if they were brittle. My small collection of BattleTech minis (metals) takes up a comparatively larger space, and my shelf space is at a real premium at present.
At some point, I’m going to have to think about my other campaign, but as that probably won’t get underway until February, I have a bit more time for that.
Next weekend, the start of Epic D&D play for us… it should be interesting!
