Thoughts on Wizards’ 4e adventures

At present, I’m running one of my groups through the H series of Wizards adventures; we’re about half-way through H2 at present. To some extent, I think the adventures published for a game display the feel of that game far more than the core rulebooks do. When I think about AD&D, it’s not really the rules that I concentrate on: it’s the early adventures. T1-4, … Continue reading Thoughts on Wizards’ 4e adventures

Peter Lee on issues facing D&D Miniatures

Peter Lee WoTC‘s ability to co-ordinate the miniature releases with the adventurers released at a similar time continues to be less than impressive.   Yup, you’re right. I’m working on it. Here’s the problem: The miniature path is close to 18 months to go from concept to your FLGS’s shelf. We will have a limited championship using Demonweb. We will have the standard $5,000 prize pool for the winners. Win some cash and be the last champion standing. There are no … Continue reading Dave Christ on the final sanctioned tournaments

Another post on the change…

Peter Lee The decision to not have skirmish cards in the boosters was made a few months ago. There were other discussions going on about other methods to support the game, and that decision was made relatively recently. It wasn’t decided until a day or two ago that there would be no skirmish stats going forward in an alternate distribution method.   (from Hordelings.com)   Continue reading Another post on the change…
